After eighteen fun years working in the horse racing industry as a work rider I finally packed my bags and headed for the big city to become a journalist before I turned 40…I’m delighted to report I smashed that goal! The next goal was learning to swim then Ironman before 42, smashed that too. What’s next? Oh I’m sure we can come up with some other challenge….

My favourite motto in life is ‘Be the reason someone smiled today’.
